Lecture details
CAT are very pleased to welcome you all to our end of excavation season open afternoon. You will get a chance to look at the finds from the dig and learn about what we have revealed. Trench talks will take place every hour on the hour from 10am, with the last talk at 3pm. There is no need to book, just show up.
Our pop-up dig pit will be out for children to enjoy and you are invited to bring an important object with you to photograph and add to our digital time capsule.
There will be a quiet hour between 9am-10am for those who prefer to explore the site in their own way with less noise and fewer people about. We will have our sensory backpacks available to inspire your site explorations.
