Lecture details

Come and get creative with us and our Artist in Residence, Bryan Hawkins, for our Art and Archaeology workshops. By looking at finds from the excavation, we will examine how we relate and respond to objects that played an important role to people living in the past.

Titled ‘A reflection of the Self: Art and Archaeology of East Wear Bay’, our workshops will enable you to use a range of art materials to present your findings. We ask that you are able to attend all 3 workshops, though we encourage you to get in touch if this presents a barrier to particpation. No previous art experience is required. Over 16's only. There is no charge for the workshops and all materials are provided.

There are limited places available, so please do book in advance by contacting us at get_involved@canterburytrust.ac.uk
